Resolution of Sora and Kairi's relationship - Page 18
Sora and Kairi are arguably one of the best video game couples ever. So does anyone else see a problem with the lack of affection so far? If the relationship between Sora and Kairi was so inspiring, magical and thought. For Kingdom Hearts II on the PlayStation 2, a GameFAQs message board topic titled "Why is the relationship between Sora & Kairi so. One of the problems I have with Kairi/Sora is how spectacularly standard .. "You can show love and explore the depth of a relationship without.
His only hinted relationship was with Squall's love interest, Rinoa. However, Seifer's attempts are in vain. Nice try Seifer, but you definitely took a major L this time. Whenever we look at Kairi's interaction, we can notice a strong collaboration with the water component.
When we look at it, we can reflect on the fact that water almost seemed vital to bring life to Kairi's character When we look at Kairi's name in Japanese, It actually means "nautical mile". However, her individual kanjis means "sea" and "village".
After linking her name with these events, It's only fair to say that Square-Enix and Disney did a great job at keeping Kairi's concept theme. They both ranked 3rd in the Famitsu character poll of the series and both have very interesting stories in their own way.
They also both share a twisted relationship in which Axel kidnapped Kairi as part of a scheme to bring his best friend Roxas back.
Shortly after his death, Axel reverts back to his human form, Lea and becomes a valued ally for the main cast. The twisted part is that Lea is also Kairi's sparring Keyblade partner. Although Kairi seemed uncomfortable training with her former captor-turned-ally, a canon story reading, performed at the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra suggested that Kairi quickly overcame her fear of Lea and became friends with him.
We sure do hope to see these two Keyblade users in action. Initially, the Birth By Sleep main characters' name follows the same concept in which the trio are being named after elements. As discussed in a previous entry, Aqua is ultimately responsible for Kairi's journey. The series is usually rated E for Everyone in the ESRB ratings and even Kingdom Hearts producer claims he had to edit some features in order not to depict too much negativity in the game. However, this state of mind is less prevalent in the manga series.
In an attempt to lure Sora, Saix summons two Berserker Nobodies and orders them to attack Kairi's cell in order for her to yell for help to lure Sora. Though Kairi is visibly injured she even bleeds a bitshe remains stoic throughout the short scene.
Perhaps they should start slowly, for example, teaming up as one unit to conquer their worldly enemies. The problems would feel as though they were halved, while the shared victories would feel doubly diabolical.
They actually have some problems that keep them from being a proper couple. And just what is that issue? Just kiss the girl already! I mean, these two have been friends for years, so they have a good foundation for a relationship—they actually know and understand one another.
The problem is this: Instead, we have this sort of awkward, non-progressing relationship. And we know they both want to say it to each other.
Sora pines a lot for Kairi, and even when Kairi forgets Sora, it still manages to weigh in on her mind. Variety in dating is a lost art, but it helps you keep perspective and get a true grasp of your feelings for an individual. So am I saying Sora should be dating people like Ariel or Namine for however brief a stint that would have been and some other young folks, or that maybe Kairi should pay more attention to Riku for a while?
People cosplay it, write fanfics about it, and raise their voices to insist that this somehow should come to pass. So what if Roxas has picked up two girls and Axel hides everything--tragedy makes perfect!Sora and Kairi's Relationship in Kingdom Hearts 3
The ice cream starts to take on a whole new meaning. Barring that there are evidently better matches for Roxas, and that Axel is much of a girl-magnet, would a relationship work between these two? So it seems strange that when Roxas finally decides to fight the Organization, Axel only jumped on the bandwagon after Roxas rejoined with Sora. That says a lot about the differing priorities of these two. Axel may not have obligations since his heart belongs to a Heartless out there in the world, but Roxas, on the other hand, does have to sacrifice himself for the good of these two people.
Clearly, Roxas and Axel can only be good friends and they show the passion of true friendship.
Even though it sadly could not persist longer, as a famous movie and Canadian female singer put it, their hearts will go on. At most it can be said that it's hinted it but that's all, hints aren't a marriage proposal speaking of, neither is the paopu fruit. So do rabid SoRiku fans with Riku and other pairings as well, which is one of the reasons I always get a slight vibe to puke at too intensive shipping crap, regardless if het, yaoi or yuri.
Ugh, don't remind me. Regardless if it's fanfiction or real canon media, in western society there has to be a romance shoehorned in no matter what and in nine of ten cases it just detracts from the actual plot.
Crazy Things You Didn’t Know About Kairi From Kingdom Hearts
Full agreement on that. You can word this stuff so good without actually going into ranting mode, lol. If anything, I bet if the gender of Kairi and Riku was switched everyone of the heteronormative western fanbase would want SoRiku to be the canon "romance", it's only Riku being actually male which prevents that and gives more fodder for other kinds of shippers despite their relationship, while love is indeed involved, does not run on the romantic track as well.
On one hand it's a curious, but at least to me also an annoying phenomena to have people needing to always pair characters up and wanting romance everywhere even if it has nothing diddlying to do with the whole narrative. This stance that love in form of friendship is not enough and you have to have romantic love and sex and kisses and whatever is what can really fire me up.
Even if they would go "My friends are my power, but my true love Kairi even more" would look stupid and do away with the actual meaning. It's exactly this kind of prospect with a romance which makes my skin crawl.
